Is WagerWatchdog a sportsbook?

No. WagerWatchdog does not accept bets, hold funds, or place wagers. It is a data and analytics platform for evaluating experts and pick performance.

Why does the app say β€œexperts”?

The current UI uses experts for the people/accounts WagerWatchdog tracks.

Which sports are supported?

Current user-facing pages can include NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, college football, NCAA men's basketball, and NCAA baseball, depending on available data and season activity.

How often is data updated?

New picks are captured as monitored sources are crawled. Scoring updates after games finish and final stats are available. Some WCS/window leaderboards are rebuilt nightly.

Ratings and WCS

What is WCS?

WCS is WagerWatchdog Credibility Score. It is a proprietary score that considers more than raw win percentage, including sample size, recency, difficulty, and consistency.

Why does an expert's win rate differ across pages?

Different pages use different windows and filters. Home may show yesterday or current-month data, My Feed uses rolling 7-day metrics for followed experts, and Expert Ratings can use all-time or selected windows.

Why are some profiles preview-only?

Free users can browse core profile information, but some richer profile sections, comparisons, and advanced metrics require Pro access.

Features and Access

What does Pro unlock?

Pro unlocks Hot Picks, Analytics, Compare experts, Parlay Ratings, unlimited follows, fuller profile data, exports, Best Bets where available, and other advanced surfaces.

Where did the old sport pages go?

Sport-specific ratings now live inside Expert Ratings through sport chips/filters. Some old URLs may redirect, but the current navigation uses the ratings hub.

Sources and Experts

Can I request a new expert?

Yes. Use Experts > Suggest New Expert and include the expert/source name, platform, and link if available.

How do I follow experts?

Use follow buttons on expert cards or profiles. Followed experts appear in My Feed.

Data and Exports

Can I download data?

Eligible users can use Exports to download CSVs for supported WagerWatchdog views.

Do pending picks count in win rate?

No. Win rate uses settled picks. Pending/open picks are shown separately until they are scored.
