Parlay Ratings

Parlays are multi-pick bets where all selections must win for the bet to pay out. WagerWatchdog tracks parlay performance separately because it requires a fundamentally different skill set than straight picks.

What Is a Parlay?

A parlay combines two or more individual picks into a single bet. The payout is higher because every pick in the parlay must be correct. If even one pick loses, the entire parlay is graded as a loss.

For example, a 3-pick parlay might include:

  • LeBron James Over 25.5 Points

  • Steelers -3.5 Spread

  • Ohtani Over 7.5 Strikeouts

All three must hit for the parlay to be "correct."

How WagerWatchdog Scores Parlays

  • Each individual leg of the parlay is scored independently (correct, incorrect, or push).

  • The overall parlay result is determined by the combined outcomes:

    • Win β€” All legs are correct.

    • Loss β€” At least one leg is incorrect.

    • Push β€” Any leg that pushes is removed, and the remaining legs determine the outcome.

The Parlay Ratings Page

Navigate to Parlay Ratings in the sidebar to see which handicappers have the best parlay track records.

Filters

  • Time Frame β€” Filter by Last 7 Days, 30 Days, 3 Months, or All Time.

  • Min Parlays β€” Set a minimum number of parlays to qualify for the rankings.

Reading the Table

The parlay leaderboard shows:

  • Rank β€” Position on the leaderboard.

  • Handicapper name

  • Total Parlays β€” How many parlays they've made.

  • Win % β€” Parlay success rate.

  • Wins / Losses β€” Raw win/loss counts for parlays.

Tips for Evaluating Parlay Performance

  • Parlay win rates are naturally lower than straight pick win rates. A 30–40% parlay win rate is very strong.

  • Check the number of legs. 2-pick parlays are much easier than 5-pick parlays.

  • Sample size matters even more. Parlay success can be volatile; look for handicappers with a meaningful number of tracked parlays.
